Adding a fire starter badge to the user profile pages

Hi, folks:

There was some question as to whether we could add the fires tarter badge to the user pages. I just confirmed that it's working for me.[1][2]

I did it with the tag:

[[Image:css-firestarter-badge-simple.png]]

Should I email active contributors, explain how to do it, or alternatively they can ask us to add it for them?

Any other ideas as to how to proceed?
