Agreed, and apologies, the spec is still super rough. We haven't gotten
to the point of specifying the ranges for the values. Think of the stuff
in that spec as rough examples and not fully formed in any way.

Some of the Payswarm specs alias'ed "USD" to
"https://iso.org/currencies/USD". So developers could write "USD", and
given the proper JSON-LD context, it would expand to
"https://iso.org/currencies/USD".

The Web Payments WG has more or less rejected Linked Data as a first
class citizen, but we're striving hard to ensure that the Web Payments
messages may still be Linked Data if the developer ecosystem wants it.

All that to say, yes, that should probably be a Currency URI... but that
has more to do w/ the vocabulary that's layered on top of Flex and not
the ledger data model itself.
