I'm curious about your reason for posting it in this thread. My own connection is the same one I got when I read about the IBM Bitcoin announcement: it seems like having IBM do the distributed payments, rather than a fully transparent project like this group is working on, would involve a high likelihood of buddy-buddy among the 1% -- via banks, corporations, and coerced (or bought) governments. The same kind of thing that leads to what's happening in Groningen. Or did you mean something else ... ? Steven R.
