Interim result and schedule for final result with regards to Chair for Web Payments CG

Formal announcement of interim and expected future final result of 2012 web
payments community working group chair selection process:

In the six days since discussion was opened on the subject of confirming
selection of Manu Sporny for Char of the web payments community working
group, no argument against him has been raised.

As acting chair of the selection process, I feel that an adequate time has
passed to name him as "Acting Chair" should there be an immediate
requirement for the web payments community working group to name a chair.

Furthermore, fourteen days being generally considered as sufficient and
adequate time for responses, barring unexpected upheaval, Manu Sporny will
formally be confirmed as community working group chair on April 4 due to
the overwhelming lack of objection and/or dissent on this issue and point.
