Re: [w3c/payment-method-basic-card] Adding support for "encrypted basic card" (#38)

@cyberphone,

You asked '"How do you anticipate that the PaymentRequest API is to be used with providers of outsourced "Secure Payment Pages".' I believe the answer is "With iframe,
the same way it is done today."

However just a moment ago you wrote " What I described and requested is when a *merchant* invokes the PaymentRequest..." That seems to be a separate question, not about outsourcing.

Different payment methods will support different features. Our expectation is that the Working Group will not discuss payment methods and their features exhaustively.

We are talking about tokenization of card payments and also credit transfers as you know.

So I'm trying to figure out whether:
 1) We already do what you want. (That is: use iframe for hosted calls to PR API.)
 2) We are already talking about what you want (That is: tokenization)
 3) We are not yet talking about what you want (and may not do so in the future.)

Ian
