FB Stats

Hi All,

So,

one of the first things i did was shared the page with my friends, and promoted its meaning. We’ve had a minor social-network effect, resulting in 76 likes over the period, however in terms of the demographic stats (34% male, 35-44 - my age bracket) these may be representative of the administration of the effort, rather than the demographic of people interested.

The post-reach graph shows clearly - engagement is via paid advertising. (nb: i’ve had issues getting posts approved. FB has an image library that can be used, however for some reason even posts created with images from this library have failed to be approved. I’ve not had this problem before with FB advertising; and it has limited the range of ways i’m able to promote the program survey).

The post that gained traction simply presented the following

"Take our Web community survey: Webizen, a greater voice in W3C. http://t.co/lzdVwmqJeS “

It is my belief, that the use of video (particularly Tim Berners-Lee @ Ted, etc) in this post directly contributed to the engagement obtained via the page.

do you have analytics connected to the survey page?

Regards,

Timothy Holborn
