Draft group description

Hi all,

I'm sorry I've not been active here yet. I'm quite busy with work at the moment. I have however managed to find some time to create a wiki page with a initial description of the group. It is a revamped version of a document Dan Brickley and I presented to Timbl when we discussed the creation of this group, and even though it's not very good, we can perhaps use it as a start for discussions.
