Chairs,

The Director is pleased to announce the recharter of the Web Fonts 
Working Group:
    https://www.w3.org/Fonts/WG/webfonts-2018.html

This group is chartered until 13 September 2022. The group is expected 
to report their current status to the AC, in the form of an interim 
report, no later than the end of December 2020.

The mission of the Web Fonts Working Group is to develop specifications 
that allow the interoperable deployment of downloadable fonts on the Web.

The substantive change from the previous charter to this charter is a 
new Recommendation-track deliverable of Progressive Font Enrichment.
