Vlad: saw the email from rsheeter with around 1% improvement on
those fonts where there was improvement (>70%)

Vlad: confirmed Google sau paulo can host, close to atypi venu
   and most hotels
... aboyt 20min taxi, with rush hour

resolved: f2f hosted by Google with ATypI, Tues Oct 13

   jfkthame: my regrets unfortunately

Vlad: we will have good connections for remote participants
... but f2f is best of course

(hmtx, already done)

CTS development

Vlad: saw emails on status updates

Khaled: all tests done except ones with empty directory and
   .... and the decoder tests

Vlad: so decoder tests are standalone and unlike the UA there
is full access to the decoded font for testing

Khaled: ok, this is good and we can test round tripping. For
validation tests we have the other files
... any other suggestions or objections?

   (none)

single entry directory

Vlad: test description seems odd, why did we split it and the
   second part makes no sense

   5Jul/0029.html

     [13] https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webfonts-wg/2015Jul/0029.html

   Vlad: was it an oversight?
... does anyone remember why we added this?

rsheeter: concurr that second part makes no sense

ChrisL: yes, think its just an editing artefact

(vlad does live edit to remove)

   leEntryDirectory

     [14] http://dev.w3.org/webfonts/WOFF2/spec/#conform-mustEmitSingleEntryDirectory

   <rsheeter_> (excitement grows)

   Vlad: ok so modified now

   ustEmitSingleEntryDirectory

     [15] https://www.w3.org/Fonts/WG/wiki/TestPlan20-AuthoringTool#mustEmitSingleEntryDirectory

Vlad: do we need more to test this? Its not too much more to
have multiple tables checked, justification for one is that if
it passes, the others will too

ChrisL: see no reason to test multiple tables

   Vlad: agreed
   ... ok, seems straightforward

f2f planning

Vlad: we have date ad location. what about start time, say
   10am? to avoid traffic jams

   +1

   <rsheeter_> +1

   Vlad: meet until 6pm

   resolved, Oct 13 is 10am-6pm

Vlad: we are super efficient today, aob?

   (none)

   adjourned

   Vlad: wow
... thanks Khaled for all the good work
