Hello WebFonts, RFC7230 has information about Compression Codings http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7230#section-4.2 I see there is a registry, http://www.iana.org/assignments/http-parameters/http-parameters.xhtml the registration procedure is defined in RFC 7231 http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7231#section-8.4 and that reference would need to be to an RFC, not to an Internet Draft with a six-month lifespan.
