Re: WebFonts WG kick-off and agenda for telcon Nov. 7

Folks,

Something came up that conflicts with the scheduled WG call, and, unfortunately, I won't be able to make it today. I also received regrets from some group members who can't join the call today. Please accept my apologies for a short notice, let's postpone this until next week.

Thank you,
Vlad

Hello WebFonts WGers,

With this email I would like to officially start the new chapter of the WG activities. As you all know, the new WG charter [1] has been approved adding new deliverables and a new work item. Following this, we had a meeting at the W3C TPAC last week [2] where we discussed our first deliverable – the evaluation report for a technology proposed as part of the future WOFF 2.0 format [3].

In order to continue the momentum and to progress quickly with the evaluation report, I would like to suggest that we should resume our regularly scheduled conference calls starting tomorrow, Nov. 7 at

US West Coast - 13:00
US East Coast - 16:00
Central Europe - 22:00
Japan - 06:00 (next day)
