W.r.t this, I have just updated the Editor's Draft text at http://dev.w3.org/webfonts/WOFF/spec/ to remove the at-risk sections about SOR/CORS, in view of the decision to specify this in CSS3 Fonts.

The General Requirements section now just says that "User agents supporting the WOFF file format for linked fonts MUST respect the requirements of the CSS3 Fonts specification", and specifically highlights the requirement that fonts are not made available to other applications/documents on the system. We might want to mention the same-origin restriction here as well, but that text isn't in the CSS3 WD that we reference, it's only in the ED, so we can't point to it yet.
