Planning for WG F2F meeting on Aug. 17 at TypeCon

Hello fellow WG members,

Our first WG F2F meeting is planned on August 17th - the first day of the TypeCon 2010 (http://www.typecon.com/). TypeCon organizers will provide a meeting room at no cost, and we can use their room block rate of $169 for those who will stay at the Century Plaza Hyatt Regency. I will contact them to inquire about conference registration fees and whether there is any additional discount available for WG members who will also present and/or participate in the WebFont panel discussion.

So far, the following group members confirmed their participation: Christopher, Chris L., Tal, Erik, John H. and I will be there. Either Sylvain or Sergei will participate as well, and John D. has expressed his desire to have the meeting in the beginning of the week (check :). Tab, Adam T. and Dave C. have expressed their preferences to have F2F meeting at TypeCon - could you please all confirm whether you're able to attend the meeting and if you are going to participate at the conference / webfont panel discussions?

I need to contact TypeCon organizers to confirm our meeting and make all necessary arrangements - please reply to this email ASAP.
The early bird registration deadline is June 30th - I suggest that we should definitely use this opportunity to register at a lower cost.
