W3C Web Crypto WG - status of APIs going to Last Call

Hi all,

A status on progressing towards Last Call.


-          Web Crypto API
Following our last week call, we decided to go for Last Call for the Web Crypto API, for a 8 weeks review period. This review will be kicked off as soon as the editors believe the spec is in good shape (meaning including the note we decided to add about the JWK javascript object in the expert operation. Once ready, the request for transition will be made to W3C and all W3C chairs and external groups we should liaise with will be warned that we are starting our review.


-          Web Crypto Key Discovery
During our last call, we did not have time to make decision to go for Last Call on that specification. In order not to desynchronize both deliverables, I will request a call for consensus by mail to go for last call on that one, with a 2 weeks period for objection. Just give me time to formulate the appropriate resolution, and you will get news soon.
