W3C Web Crypto WG - Take away from the 26th of nov call, and next steps for december

Dear all,

*** Take away from the 26th of Nov call

- We have been reviewing the mercurial tool, allowing to better track changes in our deliverables, and decided that only editors would edit the specifications.
- We have been discussing the way to solve the way keystorage should be addressed in our Working Group and decided to have further exchanges on the mailing list (which we have done, I guess :).
- This long discussion has prevented us to from address items 6/7/8 of the agenda (copied below for your convenience)
- Harry has reminded us the need to have a new WD publication in December (so called heartbeat)

Minutes are available under http://www.w3.org/2012/11/26-crypto-minutes.html
Thanks Wan-Teh for scribing.

*** Next important steps for the WG in December
- The team (editors, staff and chair) will meet to better scope the next heartbeat and will share with the WG a proposal on the mailing list asap, that will be discussed during the next call planned on the 10th of Dec.
- We will have to add a call in December to allow the WG endorsing the heartbeat publication resolution. Suggestion is 17th of Dec @ 20:00 UTC, I will pre-book your agenda with an invitation !

==> Next call will be held on 10th of December @ 15:00 UTC.
Pre-provisioned agenda is
- Heartbeat content (might cover Web Crypto API and use cases)
- New specification covering keystorage and keydiscovery (if we agree on the principle of its creation)
- First findings related to the high Level API during the next call
Please feel free to suggest topic you would like to discuss.

Regards,
Virginie
Chair of the web Crypto WG
