equalsJeffH has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/webauthn: == need to clean up "promise" language == we have straggler "promise" language lying about, e.g. in [#createCredential](https://w3c.github.io/webauthn/#createCredential) and in [#sctn-appid-extension](https://w3c.github.io/webauthn/#sctn-appid-extension) (in non-nomative prose in the former, in normative language in the latter), which needs to be cleaned up. seems to me this can wait to fix for CR milestone.
