Re: FW: Split application manifest outside of the runtime spec

Hi Jonathan,

I agree, during the WAC initiative we addressed various roles that the manifest can have as a container for attributes related to app distribution. It might be good to start a use case list, and then see what should be core features and what could be implemented via extensions.

Thanks,

Subject:FW: Split application manifest outside of the runtime spec

Hi All,

Development of Manifest specification is started on W3C sysapps WG.
http://manifest.sysapps.org/

I think that the manifest specification would be most important spec for web app store also.

I hope we can make collaborations between web app store CG and sysapps WG.

Please give us your comments and contributions.

Best Regards,

Hi All,
The repo for the manifest is now at the link below. Please subscribe yourself if you want to be a reviewer:
https://github.com/sysapps/manifest

On the Webs, you can access the manifest at:
http://manifest.sysapps.org/

(Please note that the spec sections will be getting some reshuffles over the next week ¡¦ it's a bit of a mess ATM, but hope to get it under control soon. Pull requests, questions, bugs, etc. all welcomed!)

Kind regards,
Marcos
