This email is to announce a Call for Consensus period to establish that the WebAppSec WG is ready to advance Content Security Policy Level 2 to Candidate Recommendation. http://w3.org/TR/CSP2 We completed the Last Call period for CSP 2 on September 3rd. The next step is to advance to Candidate Recommendation, which requires a review by the Director or his designate, and eventual approval by the W3C membership to publish the standard as a Recommendation. http://www.w3.org/2014/Process-20140801/#candidate-rec I've prepared a draft of the transition request document which is available as of now for public comment: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TJmdP8sVXYLl1WUPOmgdkfb_-KkWucWiKP0Ooye1nGY/edit Primarily the intent of this CfC is to establish that the WG believes that all Last Call comments have been satisfactorily resolved. We can spend some time on the Monday session of TPAC to review any outstanding issues or any objections or questions raised by this CfC. Advancement to Recommendation will depend on demonstration of two interoperable implementations, completion of the test suite, and stabilization of the dependent portions of all normative references. (this may be awhile) This CfC will conclude during Monday's TPAC session on October 27th. Positive replies encouraged, failure to respond will be taken as assent. thank you, Brad Hill
