Hi Brad and all,
This is to inform you that the Web Crypto WG has issued the Web Crypto API [1] providing basic tools for web app to generate keys, manage crypto operation such as signature and ciphering operation. This specification is open for comments and we would appreciate if the Web App Sec WG participants could review it and send comments to the public comment mailing list public-webcrypto-comments@w3.org<mailto:public-webcrypto-comments@w3.org> .
Please note that we have an open issue related to the integration of CSP into our API [2], the Web Crypto WG is trying to get benefit of this feature without blocking the usability of the API. This is a topic we may discuss during our joint meeting in TPAC meeting - details of joint meeting to be worked out off line.
Regards,
Virginie Galindo
Gemalto
Chair of the Web Crypto WG
