Hello WebPlat,

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the WebPlat WG over the 
past 12 months.

With your help we've brought Web Storage 2nd Edition, HTML5.1, Pointer 
Lock and WebIDL Level 1 to Recommendation. We've made progress on many 
other specifications including Gamepad API, IndexedDB API, Screen 
Orientation API, Service Workers, Dom Parsing, both UI Events Keyboard 
Events specs, Custom Elements, Selection API and others (that you'll 
find on the WebPlat Pub Status page [1]).

We've filed, discussed and resolved issues that are too numerous to 
mention - but each and every one helped make a spec better than it was 
before.

So thank you from the WebPlat chairs and team, for all your hard work 
and contributions. Now let's see what we can accomplish in 2017!
