Thanks Art Barstow, for more than 15 years of contributions

Art,

On behalf of W3C, I would like to thank you for outstanding service as
co-chair of the Web Platform Working Group and chair of the Pointer
Events Working Group.

You have contributed to the W3C for many years, by being a W3C Fellow
from 2000 to 2002, and through involvement with HP and Nokia. You
co-chaired the Web Applications Working Group - one of our most
important groups - for over 10 years and chaired the Web Events Working
Group. You are a co-editor of the Touch Events Recommendation,
published in October 2013.

In addition, we are grateful for your service: active contribution to
the Advisory Committee for over 12 years (and in doing so sending almost
600 emails - excellent advice - to the AC forum), as well as the W3C
Advisory Board from July 2014 to July 2015. You have help improve W3C,
our Process, and work mode for the benefit of the World Wide Web and its
future.

Art, I wish you the best in your next endeavor.

Jeff Jaffe
