        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: XHR
        AssignedTo: annevk@opera.com
        ReportedBy: glenn@skynav.com

the timeout attribute needs to be better described to communicate a sense of
its intended purpose; at present, section 4.7.3 only says "The amount of
milliseconds a request can take before being terminated."

this does not really communicate its intended usage; it would be useful to
qualify "being terminated" (e.g., under what circumstances) and also indicate
difference in meaning when used with synchronous versus asynchronous requests
