          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: HTML Editing APIs
        AssignedTo: ayg@aryeh.name

Right now interactions between focus and selection are UA-dependent. Maybe it
should stay that way but it's worth investigating.

e.g. WebKit automatically focuses the element with selection when the user
types, moves caret, etc... whereas Trident and Gecko moves selection to
wherever focus is.
