I'd always assumed we would do actual type checks; that's my current plan for [import maps](https://github.com/domenic/import-maps). No spec yet but I did write up a [reference implementation](https://github.com/domenic/import-maps/blob/20104f1f2db3480ee381a3982b18fbc6ab72a80c/reference-implementation/lib/import-maps.js) which is pretty easy to translate into spec-ese. -- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
