@photopea @firtman I also agree ambient badges could create more noise within the browser UI but I do not think they are a critical problem if we have a consistent way of installing with window.install().

I also think browser they adapt over time to have a more suitable UI experience, you can see some
old version of Chrome and Firefox below.

For instance they knew bookmark was not a feature suitable for mobile and that's why they adapt to the new mobile model. PWA is a big experiment I think is good we are learning and trying new UX but I do think if Firefox/Samsung browser will realize ambient badge is terrible idea or they can use that space for something more important I am sure they will change it. 

In any case the User Agent UI is something which goes beyond the spec and we cannot create rule for that, but is good we are letting know to browsers eng which are our preferences.
