@marcoscaceres  I still can not see, how is window.install() more dangerous or intruding than windows.alert() ? Why it can not be handled in the same manner and has to have so many restrictions? Even if the user installs the app without knowing "what it means", the app will still run in a browser sandbox, without getting any extra privileges. We are just talking about the more fancy bookmark. Browsers don't forbid you to make HTTP bookmarks.
