@annevk Based on yours and Jim's photos, I thought you were both guys, and I was referring to you both, not others.

I appreciate all walks of life; I lived in Oscar Wilde House in Berkeley (an LGBTQA (and more letters) house), with one of the most sexually diverse groups of people around.

My mom is one of the most loving and caring people you could ever meet, yet she calls groups of people "guys" _all the time_ without causing any harm at all. It doesn't mean "men" when she says it either.

This sentiment is often over exaggerated. If I was saying something like "men are the best programmers", then I could understand why people could be upset about that, but I'm not saying anything like that, and I also don't believe that, and I also don't believe women are; it depends on the specific person, and mostly everyone is better at something than everyone else.
