Re: [whatwg/fetch] Aborting a fetch: The Next Generation (#447)

There are a lot of things we *could* do. A lot of people have strongly-held opinions about controlling fetch that are directly incompatible. Whatever we decide, it won't be "the way" someone wants it to be, and they may be unhappy about that. However, if we continue to ship nothing to solve this issue, *everyone* is unhappy.

After we ship a solution, if you're one of the unhappy ones, thanks for taking one for the team.
