I just took a quick skim again.  This looks really great.  Thank you again, @tobie.  The type distinguishing table looks particularly fancy now!

Only one minor comment, and not a showstopper for landing: For the highlighted informal syntax examples, it would be nice to italicise or somehow otherwise distinguish the "not actual syntax replaced bits" other than the bit being pointed out.  For example, in section 3.1, in the informal syntax example below "For operations, the identifier token that appears", it would be nice if we preserved the italics on interface_identifier and return_type.  Maybe it's not so important.

I don't have a strong opinion on semantic linebreaking.  I haven't tried using it in anger so don't know if it works well in practice for spec editing.
