Re: [webcomponents] Change createElement(ln, typeExtension) to createElement(ln, { is }) (0abc10e)

This was my argument a year or two ago and you insisted we shouldn't let IDL influence our designs. I've greatly reduced usage of null since then where it was not necessary. And I have to say, I think you for it since it looks much cleaner. Let's not stop. (And maybe fix IDL at some point so undefined is passed in instead.)
