"Stable" is not a thing in standards. All of it requires ongoing maintenance and refactoring. We shouldn't delude ourselves that this is not the case. You are of course free to allocate your time as you wish, but from experience I can tell you that maintaining two versions, while having to do refactoring, fixing issues, etc. is not really workable if you want to get things done. --- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to this thread.
