I think the new proposal is good.
All the composition use cases in this thread are satisfied. It also makes some
sense that the order of the insertion points in the event path is the reverse
of the destination insertion points list. Similarly, it makes sense that we get
subtrees contiguously (e.g. P, O, N and I, H, G).
