RE: [W3C Web Security IG] Call for contributors for W3C Manifest security review

Dear all,

Great news : we have already one volunteer to perform the security review of the W3C Manifest specification. I will also support the initiative, which makes two.
But we are still looking for one or two more people.
Anyone ready to beta test the security review process *and* the W3C manifest ?

Subject: [W3C Web Security IG] Call for contributors for W3C Manifest security review

Hi all,

The W3C Manifest is in Public Working Draft and the security review was requested by Marcos Caceres on the public mailing list [1] on the 26th of May. As this is a public working draft, it may change in the future, as such reviewers will only have to point on sensitive items, and warn the Web App WG on possible security problems. The suggested timeline to conduct the review is the following :
- 2 weeks to gather a team of 2 or 3 people ideally (and consolidate the process and guidelines in parallel),
- 3 weeks to perform the review,
- 1 week to restitute review into bugs in Manifest github repository.

So if you want to be part of the reviewers, raise your hand on the mailing list, or send a mail directly to me or Wendy.
Regards,
