W3C Web Security IG - some interesting inititiaves in W3C

Hi all,

As you may know, W3C is managing each year some headlight projects, those projects are the ones that AB and W3C management think are key to influence the future of W3C, as an organization. To confirm this, member are invited to get involved and give their opinion. Looking at the projects, I have identified 2 of them that may be of interest for the W3C IG members:

- "Security and Privacy Internal Consulting" lead by Wendy (thank you Wendy !). I guess that this one is overlapping with our IG initiative to have a light process for security reviews and deliver some security guidelines (note that this last one is expecting your comments here https://www.w3.org/Security/wiki/IG/W3C_spec_review/Security_Guidelines)

- "Webizen Program" lead by Jeff Jaffe. This webizen concept will allow individuals to participate to W3C activities (and even have their AC representatives), without being Invited Experts. This may help to get more web security contributors in Working Groups . If you would like to participate to the design of this new 'webizen' concept, do not hesitate to read more, here https://www.w3.org/wiki/Webizen, and join the mailing list , here http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-webizen/
