Hi Web Security IG, W3C renewed the group's charter at the end of last month: http://www.w3.org/2011/07/security-ig-charter.html extending it and adding a co-chair, Virginie Galindo of Gemalto, who joins Adam Barth. I will be your team contact, replacing Thomas Roessler. Virginie also chairs the Web Cryptography WG, http://www.w3.org/2012/webcrypto/ which is progressing toward last call later this year. Because that wasn't enough W3C work for her, she signed on as co-chair for the Security IG, and has proposed a Web Security session for TPAC's unconference day: http://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC2013/SessionIdeas#Security_roadmap I hope Virginie will share her thoughts on areas for this group to investigate -- and that the group will share its ideas in response!
