I believe I have addressed your comments. Whatever incompatibilities there may be in the model between the more recent WHATWG spec and our spec, the W3C spec describes behavior currently shipping in browsers, and the WHATWG spec does not.

As chair of the working group, I concluded to proceed with requesting transition to CR, and we already have a formal recording of this decision. I feel I gave ample opportunity for all participants in the working group to express agreement or disagreement with the proposal, and none have expressed disagreement. Therefore in terms of the W3C process, the request carries.

Nonetheless, Anne, are you formally objecting to the working group’s decision to transition?
