The Web Notification Working Group charter[1] has been extended until 31 December 2013 in order to permit the group to successfully wrap up its work on the Web Notifications specification[2]. Jon has been an active participant in technical discussions of the Web Notifications specification, so I hope you'll join me in welcoming him on in his new role, and thank him for stepping forward to offer his time to lead the group.
