Rethinking the NFC security context

For the kind of applications I'm targeting the identity of the requester is important and the more I look into this, the less useful I find my original idea building on the browser's security context since there's no clear binding between an NFC adapter and a requesting Web page.

By rather considering a universal mechanism, there would be no need limiting such applications to the Web which could be significant. It is at least not obvious to me how you could (in a trustworthy manner) connect to a POS terminal using current thinking.

WDYT?
