Hi,

The Device APIs Working Group has started to consider ideas for a new
charter, in particular based on the identified needs around Screen Wake
Lock (which was discussed previously here).

Given that device APIs are typically driven by needs on mobile devices,
it would probably be useful if this group provided input on which new
device APIs we feel are useful additions to the Web platform in the
short term.

The mobile API survey might be a source of inspiration for this too:
https://github.com/w3c-webmob/web-api-gap/

(the Device APIs Working Group has asked for input ideally before July
7, although that's more an informal target at this stage in the process)
