Why not?

Print queues federate documents from multiple sources. They may be
managed centrally. Each app having a separate queue, error
notification mechanism (incl. custom cryptic error messages) can
hardly be a major use case in and of itself. A central print queue
might allow users to filter queued documents by source if desired, but
that default should never be forced upon users.
