James, Greg. I just upgraded to Chrome 18. Greg said in Shenzhen that Web Intents is natively supported in this version through a command line invocation. However, it seems as it is supported even when you start Chrome without any special command. It is of course nice to be able to run the native Web Intents implementation of Chrome but it also causes some problems. As we are experimenting with Web Intents for local network service discovery we have our own JS shim that we add stuff to. So we want to be able to run this in Chrome as well. I tried to disable the native Web Intents implementation by starting Chrome with "chrome.exe --disable-webintents" but it does not help. Any advice?
