RE: WCAG2ICT Agenda for Friday 28th June Meeting; also hopes for WCAG WG review / approval on July 9th

Apologies that I have to miss this last(ish) meeting.

I will be having a rare and quite short vacation.

Thanks to Gregg for taking over the chairing of the meeting. Good luck to all!

Best regards

Mike

** HOPES FOR WCAG WG REVIEW/APPROVAL
In today's WCAG WG meeting, I alerted the WG that we hoped to finalize our edits to WCAG2ICT this Friday afternoon (Michael Cooper expects to incorporate all of our edits in the hours after our meeting), to send to them by close of business Friday June 28th.
Due to the U.S. 4th of July holiday next week, many WCAG WG members will be out and so the next WCAG WG meeting will take place on Tuesday July 9th (with July 2nd being canceled). WCAG WG agreed to prioritize that meeting to addressing WG comments on WCAG2ICT, in hopes of enabling our publication later that same week (assuming the W3C machinery can move that quickly).
I encourage all TF members to consider attending the July 9th WCAG WG meeting, so that we have sufficient TF members present to discuss and agree to any edits that arise in the WG meeting, so as to not have to do another cycle between the TF & WG.
