Hi folks I had to retype this using a france keyboard...I hope its OK. Its a first pass on the top layer of 3.2 L2 SC 4. The formatting is gone on web mail. But it will start discussion... SC 3.2 L2 SC 4 Components that have the same functionality in multiple delivery units within q set of delivery units are labeled consistently. Key terms same functionality Items are considered to have the same functionality if the outcome of their use is identical. For instance; a submit "search" button one delivery unit and a "find" button on another delivery unit ,ay both have q field to enter a ter,and list topics in the zeb site related to the term submitted. Intent of this success criterion A strategy that people who use screen readers use when operating a web site is to rely heavily on their familiarity with functions that may appear on different delivery units. If identical functions have different labels on different delivery units, the site will be considerably more difficult for these people to use. It may also be confusing and increase the cognitive load for people with congnitive difficulties. Therefore, consistent labeling will help these people.
