RE: Methodology title and acronym

Hi Alistair and all

I'm not keen on 'estimation' as it seems too unsure. If we help people to
choose a truly representative sample, they should be able to do more than
'estimate'.

Personally I'd like to keep the current name "WCAG Evaluation Methodology"
with the acronym "WCAG-EM". It says what it is IMHO :)

Subject: Methodology title and acronym

Dear All,

"Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology" does not give
WCAG-EM as an acronym.

Seemingly the title does not exactly match the current ideal that the
"document provides guidance on evaluating the extent of conformance of
websites to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0".

And, I wonder, also, that the title of the optional output - the
"Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Statement" is also out of line with
the new ideal.

The proposal I would like to float is to change the word Evaluation to
Estimation in the title -

The title would become "Website Accessibility Conformance - Estimation
Methodology", with the acronym (WAC-EM) - and the output statement would be
something like "Website Accessibility Conformance Estimate".

It's just for thought.

Very best regards

Alistair
