Dear ERT WG, I am new to the WG and will be spending some time with Shadi next week to get up to speed on group history and present goals. The draft charter is obviously an excellent place for me to start. Here are some quick thoughts: To what extent will we collaboratively explore/promote the use of EARL, with the WCAG-EM WG, as the method to integrate/aggregate automated/semi-automated and even manual test results into the the recently released WCAG-EM Report Tool? I notice that in the definition of our group Mission, we do not differentiate "tools" with automated or semi-automate language. Is is safe to assume that a "tool" can therefor be either? Should we be thinking about ways to enable/support the potential of crowd sourced issue detection? Just some early thoughts, not necessarily questions that need direct answers! I look forward to working/meeting with all of you. -David O'Neill
