Transition Request: First Public Working Draft of the "Requirements for the Evaluation and Report Language (EARL) 1.0"

Dear Tim, Steve,

The WAI Evaluation and Repair Tools (ERT) WG [1] would like to publish the first public Working Draft of the "Requirements for the Evaluation and Report Language (EARL) 1.0" on Wednesday, 15 June 2005. The document passes W3C publication rules and is available at the following URL:

 <http://www.w3.org/WAI/ER/EARL10/WD-EARL10-Requirements-20050615>

The WG's decision to request publication as a First Working Draft was taken during a teleconference on Tuesday 7 June, 2005 [2]. As described in the Charter of ERT WG [3], this document is expected to eventually mature to a Working Group Note.

To follow suit with document short name of the existing EARL 1.0 Working Draft [4], we request the short name "EARL10-Requirements" for this document.
