Just some thoughts:

I really think that it's not a good idea to put image only in CSS  
background.
For me, images *are* contents.

I'm really happy with this, albeit this is a Priority 3 (AAA) Level.

I think that document structure should start with <h1>.




And for checkpoint 13.2
- there are no metadata to add semantic information.

Maybe we could use RDF to indicate the document's author, the type of  
content, etc. and/or HTML LINK element and "rel" or "rev" attributes.
