BAD TF: Minutes from Teleconference on Wednesday 31 August, 2005

1. Debrief from discussion with EOWG
 - Frames:
  * In EOWG it was argued that it is difficult to make frames accessible for very large print
  * Frames are rarely used in modern designs but are still a fundamental accessibility barrier
  * It may be better to construct the BAD site without frames but instead implement an example
  * A possible implementation would be in the pop-up help page that is already on the wish list
  RESOLUTION: BAD TF will consider a frames example at a later stage in the project (wish list)
 - Features:
  * JavaScript drop-down menu
  ACTION: Shadi add to menu page
  * Keyboard access
  ACTION: Shadi add to menu page
  * Fixed font sizes
  ACTION: Shadi add to article page
  * Deprecated elements
  ACTION: Shadi add to article page
  * Text area with fixed sized border (when text is enlarged, it disappears around the box)
  ACTION: Shadi add to article page
  * Inconsistent navigation
  ACTION: Shadi add to wish list
 - Documentation:
  * Further discussion about documentation and usage of the BAD site needs to happen in EO

2. Article Page by Steve
 - Form:
  * Only an example from real experience and sent to the group for demonstration purposes
  ACTION: Steve will separate form from article page, Tanguy will see what he can reuse
 - Other aspects:
  * uses table layout, we agreed to use DIV layout on that page (table layout on forms page)
  * does not yet implement the features listed on the features list (and the new ones too)
  ACTION: Steve will implement these features
