Dear Andrew, all,

 

Concerning the example scenario "Promoting web accessibility (10 minutes for senior management)" please keep in mind that it should focuses mainly in the business perspective (in addition to the described business benefits) private organisations to include accessibility (this is the point for senior managers). Thus the scenario should briefly and effectively depict the potential benefits and business reasons of web accessibility. As a starting point some of the following examples should be mentioned:

 

  a.. better search capabilities, a more marketable website
  b.. several success stories from big industrial organisations in the fight to improve accessibility (e.g. forthcoming Google accessible search engine, Google YouTube automated captioning system that allows users to switch on captions in many of the site's videos, Amazon.com with two additional features to improve the accessibility of its digital media reader Kindle, Twitter, etc..
