* extract metadata from eBook file formats [1] like ePub [2] and Mobi [3]
* map metadata from existing files to schema.org metadata [4]
* include that metadata externally in an HTML page [5]

"Form-based publishing tools" like schema creator and microdata generator
provide standalone schema.org markup generating tools. [5][6][7]

There are ongoing projects for integrating linked data with
widely deployed applications like Drupal [8][9] and WordPress [10]
with Schema.org.
